Summary Points

The core truth of Jesus being perfected through sufferings is:

He was already perfect God, but to become a qualified Captain of salvation, He had to experience complete human life in His humanity, including all sufferings, so that He could sympathize with our weaknesses and become our pattern and forerunner, leading God's many sons into the glory He first entered. This was not a defect in His divinity, but God's wise arrangement to accomplish His eternal purpose.
