Eph.
1:4–5 – “Even as He chose us in Him before the
foundation of the world… having predestinated us…”
Rom.

has been crucified with Him…”
Rom.
8:9–11 – “The Spirit of God dwells in you… the Spirit
gives life to your mortal bodies.”
Aspect |
The
Father (Planner, Initiator) |
The Son (Accomplisher) |
The
Spirit (Executor) |
Meaning |
The Father is
the One who initiates, plans, and purposes. |
The Son is the
One who accomplishes what the Father has purposed and planned. |
The Spirit is
the One who applies and executes what the Father planned and the Son accomplished to the believers. |
Function (Use) |
Establishes the
eternal purpose, chooses and predestines us, and provides the foundation of the church. |
Became flesh,
was crucified, and resurrected to accomplish redemption and terminate all negative things. |
Applies the
Father’s purpose and the Son’s accomplishment to us, giving life, renewing,
sanctifying, and transforming the believers. |
Examples |
-
The Father chose us before the foundation of the world (Eph. 1:4). (Eph. 3:11). |
- Christ
on the cross accomplished redemption, terminating sin, the
flesh, the self, the old creation, Satan, and death (1 Thes. 1:1b;
Rom. 6:6). |
- At
Pentecost the Spirit was poured out (Acts 2:4). |
Application |
- The
church is in the Father, living in His purpose and plan, not initiating
anything of man. |
-
Believers in Christ are freed from all negative things and enjoy Him as life and righteousness. |
- Believers in
the Spirit experience the presence, supply, and transformation of the Triune
God, living out the church life. |
Key
Scriptures |
- Eph. 1:4–5 – “Even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the
world… having predestinated us…” |
- Rom. 6:6 – “Our old man has been crucified with Him…” |
- Rom. 8:9–11 – “The Spirit of God dwells in you… the Spirit gives life to your mortal

Core
Points
- The Father: purpose and plan
→ Initiator
- The Son: accomplishment → Completer
- The Spirit:
execution and application → Executor
- The work of the Trinity is distinct yet not divided;
Their manifestation is one in the believers.
Conclusion
In the Divine Trinity’s work:
the Father plans, the Son accomplishes, and the Spirit executes. In manifestation,
however, They are one. What we experience today
is the Spirit—the Spirit is the Son, and in the
Son we have the Father. Thus, when we live and
walk by the Spirit, we are actually living in the Triune God, and the church becomes His testimony and expression in purpose,
accomplishment, and application.
