Comparison of "The Seed, The Spirit, The Unique and Central
Blessing of the Gospel, and The All-inclusive Good Land" from a Biblical
Perspective
Galatians 3:16 "For the
promises were made to Abraham and to his descendants after him." It
does not say, “and your descendants,” as if referring to many people, but “and your descendants,” referring to one person, even Christ. '
Gal. 3:14 'That the blessing
of Abraham might come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Genesis 12:1 The LORD said to Abram, “Leave your country, your relatives and your father’s
household and go to the land I will show you.”
Genesis 12:5 And Abram took
his wife Sarai, and his nephew Lot, and all the possessions which they had gathered, and the
souls which they had acquired in Haran, and went forth
to the land of Canaan. So they arrived in the land of Canaan.
Genesis 12:7 The LORD appeared
to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will
give this land.”
Gal 3:8 And the Scripture, foreseeing
that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand
to Abraham, saying, "In you all the nations will
be blessed."
Gal 3:9 So those who are by
faith are blessed together with Abraham who believed.

From the Bible and the information provided, these four concepts demonstrate the progression and richness of
God's salvation plan. They are closely related: Christ
as "the Seed" is the center and starting
point of God's promise; He becomes "the
Spirit" (the life-giving Spirit) enabling us to practically receive
"the unique and central blessing of the gospel," and all of this is ultimately realized as our experience and
enjoyment of "the all-inclusive good land" (Christ Himself).
These four concepts form a
progression of spiritual reality:
l First,
Christ is the unique seed promised by God to Abraham
(Gal 3:16)
l This
Christ, through death and resurrection, became the
life-giving Spirit (1 Cor 15:45)
l Through faith, we receive this Spirit as the unique and central
blessing of the gospel
l Finally, in our daily lives, we practically experience and enjoy
Christ as our all-inclusive good land
All four concepts point
to the same Christ, but reveal His riches and all-inclusiveness from different
angles, with the ultimate purpose of enabling
believers to practically enjoy Christ in their lives and be transformed into a new creation.
