Regeneration is the beginning, not the goal, of the Christian life.

1.      Being God's children does not automatically qualify believers to inherit the kingdom.

2.      God's present work is to mature His children into full-grown sons.

3.      Suffering is not God's punishment but His means of perfecting His sons.

4.      All mature sons become the qualified heirs of God's inheritance.

5.      Glory is not merely going to heaven but the manifestation of the matured divine life.

6.      The millennial kingdom is the first stage in which the overcoming heirs enjoy the kingdom inheritance.

• God's desire is not merely to gain saved people but to obtain mature sons who can inherit His kingdom.
