God's Gift vs. God's Reward

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 4:14 Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. And the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.

Revelation 21:6 He said to me, “It is finished. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give the water of life to those who thirst.”
