Item

The Ascended Position

Spiritual Warfare

Relationship & Spiritual Insight

Scripture

Meaning

Being resurrected with Christ and seated with Him in the heavenlies

Fighting against the spiritual forces of darkness from a heavenly position

Spiritual warfare is not earthly activity but heavenly execution

Ephesians 2:6; 6:12

Cause

Through Christ’s death, resurrection, and ascension, believers are joined to Him

Satan still occupies the air and blinds people

Without the ascended position, there is no genuine spiritual warfare

Col. 1:13; Heb. 2:14

Illustration

Like a king seated on the throne

Like heavenly armies attacking from above

First the throne, then the battle; first the position, then the authority

Rev. 12:5-11

Explanation

Believers live in the reality of Christ’s ascension

Warfare is not fleshly struggle but dealing with spiritual darkness

Warfare is a matter of life and position, not merely activity

2 Cor. 10:3-5

Effect

Brings heavenly power, authority, and light

Casts out darkness and releases people from Satan’s authority

The more heavenly we are, the stronger the warfare

Acts 26:18

Purpose

To live out Christ’s ascended life and reign

To recover God’s lost ground and bring in His kingdom

Ascension is for reigning; warfare is for the kingdom

Matt. 6:10

Difference

Focuses on position and life

Focuses on execution and conflict

The ascended position is the foundation; warfare is its expression

Eph. 2:6; 6:10-18

Relationship

Heavenly position produces spiritual authority

Spiritual warfare proves one is living in ascension

The two are directly proportional

James 4:7

Example

The Lord Jesus seated at God’s right hand

The Lord casting out demons and releasing captives

Christ first won in heaven, then executed victory on earth

Luke 10:18-19

Biblical Example

Paul the Apostle lived in a heavenly vision

Paul the Apostle confronted darkness and turned people to God

Paul’s ministry carried the character of kingdom warfare

Acts 19:11-20

Gospel Application

Gospel preachers must live in a heavenly condition

Only then can people truly be delivered from Satan’s authority

Earthly methods save outwardly but cannot fully release inwardly

Acts 26:18

Building Up Saints

Only those living in ascension can minister life

They can help believers escape darkness

Mere doctrine cannot bring spiritual release

John 8:32

Spiritual Principle

Losing the heavenly condition means losing spiritual power

Falling into the flesh brings defeat

The secret of warfare is not zeal but ascension

Rom. 8:6

Spiritual Condition

The more we live in the spirit, the more heavenly we become

The more authority we have over darkness

Our spiritual warfare depends on our heavenly measure

Gal. 5:16

Spiritual Danger

Loving the world and walking in the flesh

Ministry loses spiritual impact

Fleshly methods cannot bring genuine victory

1 John 2:15-17

Partial Experience

Even immature believers may partially live in ascension

Therefore they can partially deal with darkness

The help we give depends on our heavenly portion

1 Cor. 3:1-3

Mature Condition

The whole person lives in the heavenlies

The whole life becomes spiritual warfare

Darkness is driven out wherever such a person goes

Rev. 11:15

Burden

The church must recover a heavenly living

The church must become God’s army

God desires heavenly people, not merely workers

2 Tim. 2:3-4

Prophetic Speaking

“Keeping the ascended position is more important than merely working.”

“True spiritual warfare proceeds from the throne.”

“Our spiritual authority matches our heavenly measure.”

Eph. 6:10-11

Core Points

Ascension is the basis of authority

Warfare is the expression of heavenly living

First seated in heaven, then victorious over the air

Eph. 2:6; 6:12

Practical Application

Stay in fellowship with the Lord daily and reject worldly living

Pray, preach, and serve from the spirit, not from natural effort

Maintain a heavenly condition to minister deliverance and life

Col. 3:1-3

Conclusion

Only those who live in Christ’s ascension possess genuine spiritual authority

Spiritual warfare depends on heavenly life, not natural strength

When the church lives in ascension, God’s kingdom advances on earth

Matt. 16:18-19; Rev. 12:10-11
