God’s Measured Sphere vs God’s Governing Restraint
2 Corinthians 10:13 But let us
not boast beyond our measure, but only according to the measure that God has set for us,
a measure that extends even to you.
2 Corinthians 10:14 We do not
stretch ourselves too far, as if we do not reach you;
for in the gospel of Christ we were the first to come, even beyond you.
2 Corinthians 10:15 We do
not boast excessively about the labor of others, but
hope that as your faith grows, you will be expanded abundantly according to our
measure,
2 Corinthians 10:16 spreading the gospel beyond you, not boasting in the measure of others, in things that are already done.

Prophetic Summary
God’s measure
defines our boundaries; God’s restraint governs our pace.
Knowing His measure makes us accurate, accepting His restraint makes us mature.
*Ultimate
Conclusion
Spiritual maturity is not merely knowing: “What does God want me to do?”
It is also knowing: “How far should I go, and where must I stop?”
God’s measured sphere is the blueprint of service; God’s
governing restraint is the guardrail of service.
Without blueprint, we lose direction.
Without
guardrail, we fall.
