The Two Servants in Matthew 24:45–51(Faithful and Wise Servant VS Evil
Servant)
Matthew 24:45 So who then
is the faithful and discerning servant whom his master has appointed to manage
his household and to give them their food at the proper time?
Matthew 24:46 Blessed is
that servant when his master comes and finds him doing so.
Matthew 24:47 Truly I tell
you, his master will put him in charge of all his possessions.
Matthew 24:48 But if that wicked servant says in his heart, “My
master will be late,”
Matthew 24:49 and beats his fellow servants and eats and drinks
with drunkards,
Matthew 24:50 when that
servant’s master comes on an unexpected day and at an unknown hour,
Matthew 24:51 he will cut him in two and condemn him to
punishment with the hypocrites; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Spiritual Insight (Key Point)
The entire Bible reveals a divine progression:
God’s House →
Stewards → Dispensing Life → Building the Church → Preparing the Kingdom.
The Lord’s concern is not merely service, but life supply.
The crucial question is not:
“Did
you work for the Lord?”
But rather:
“Did you supply Christ to others?”
*One Prophetic
Declaration
A faithful and
wise servant is one who enjoys Christ daily and ministers Christ as life to
God’s household.
*Ultimate
Conclusion
In gospel of Matthew 24:45–51, he Lord is not judging salvation, but
faithfulness in stewardship.
Those who dispense
Christ → receive the kingdom reward
Those who
abuse their position → lose the kingdom enjoyment
*Practical
Application
1. Daily enjoy
Christ through prayer and the Word.
2. Minister
Christ as life to others in the church.
3. Avoid
worldliness and pride in service.
4. Serve the
saints with humility and love.
5. Live in
expectation of the Lord’s coming.
