Faith That God Is vs. Denying the Self
Exodus 3:14 Then God said
to Moses, “I am the one who is,” and “Say this to the Israelites: ‘I am the one
who sent me to you.’”
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is
the confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:6 Without
faith it is impossible to please God, because
anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those
who earnestly seek him.
Luke 9:23 Then Jesus said
to the crowds, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up
his cross daily and follow me.”
Luke 9:24 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.

Spiritual Integrated Insight (Key Point)
The Bible reveals a fundamental spiritual
principle of the universe:
God is — Man is not.
Therefore:
Faith that God is → Seeing that we are
nothing
Seeing that we are nothing → Denying the self
Denying the self → Christ
living in us
True faith is not merely believing what
God can do, but believing that God alone is.
📜 One Prophetic Summary
To believe
that God is means to see that only God truly
is;
to deny the self means
to acknowledge that we are nothing so that
Christ may be everything.
⭐
Ultimate Conclusion
The entire Bible leads us to this ultimate
reality:
God is → Christ lives → Man disappears → God
is expressed.
As Paul declared:
“It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives
in me.”
(Galatians 2:20)
🔹 Practical Application
1. In every
situation, turn to God as the source.
2. Reject the natural self and its
opinions.
3. Live by Christ
rather than by
the natural life.
4. Practice
declaring: “Not I, but
Christ.”
5. Seek God’s
interest rather
than personal gain.
