Christ as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah VS Christ as the Redeeming Lamb
Revelation 5:5 Then one
of the elders said to me, “Do not weep; behold,
the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome and is able to
open the scroll and remove its seven seals.”
Revelation 5:6 Then I
saw a lamb standing between the throne and the four living creatures and among
all the elders, as if it had just been slain, with seven horns and seven
eyes—the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
Revelation 5:7 And this
lamb came and took the scroll from the right hand of the one who sat on the
throne.

Spiritual Integrated View (Key Points)
Christ is both the Lion and the Lamb.
As the Lion, He deals with Satan;
as the Lamb, He redeems sinners.
The Lion fights for God’s kingdom,
the Lamb sheds blood for God’s redemption.
Because of these two aspects,
He is worthy to open the scroll of
God’s economy.
π£ One Prophetic Summary Sentence
“Christ
is both the Lion who fights for God’s kingdom and the Lamb who was slain for
man’s sin; having overcome and redeemed, He is worthy to open the scroll of
God’s economy.”
π Ultimate Conclusion
The Christ revealed in Revelation
is
not only the gentle Lamb
nor only the majestic Lion,
but:
π¦ to the enemy, He is the victorious Lion;
π to us, He is the redeeming Lamb.
This “Lion-Lamb” stands before the throne,
carries out God’s administration,
and fulfills God’s economy
until the New Jerusalem is accomplished.
