Spiritual
Integrative Summary:
Revelation 7 shows that God’s promised blessings are not
merely future comforts in heaven, but present realities we can enjoy today on
earth. By believing into Christ and contacting Him in our spirit, He becomes
our eternal satisfaction, ending all hunger and thirst. By being hidden in God,
dwelling under His shadow, the scorching heat cannot harm us. By admitting that
we can never live well by ourselves, the Lamb shepherds us daily, feeds us, and
leads us to the springs of the water of life. Though tears remain in this age,
they are being swallowed up by life, until their ultimate removal in the New
Jerusalem.
One-Sentence
Prophetic Declaration:
“Today
I enjoy Christ as my satisfaction, God as my covering, and the Lamb as my
Shepherd, who leads me to the springs of the water of life.”
