The "Progressive Spiritual Levels" of the Three: These are not three parallel terms, but rather progressively deeper revelations.

1. First and Last

Emphasis on Existence and Status

Declaration: Christ is the only, eternal, and unchanging One.

2. Beginning and End

Emphasis on Action and Economy

Declaration: God's work begins with Christ and is completed in Christ.

3. Alpha and Omega

Emphasis on Content, Continuation, and the Entire Process

Declaration: Not only is there a beginning and an end, but the entire process itself is Christ.

Integrated Spiritual Conclusion (in one sentence):

Christ is not only before us but also after us; not only begins and ends God's work; but also, throughout the entire process, is the content, the continuation, and everything.
