When We Experience Jesus, He Is Emmanuel —
God with Us |
|
Meaning |
Emmanuel is not merely a theological
title, but a name recognized through experience.
Whenever we experience Jesus, we spontaneously realize that He is God Himself
with us. |
|
Reason |
Because Jesus
is nothing less than God Himself. He is not someone apart from God,
nor merely God’s representative, but God personally
present, approachable,
and experiencable. |
|
Illustration |
Just as light does not need explanation when it shines, when Jesus is experienced, we know inwardly that God is with us. |
|
Effect |
Brings
believers from objective belief into subjective
experience. Faith becomes living, immediate, and supplying, not merely doctrinal. |
|
Explanation |
God tells us
His name is Jesus. But when we
receive and experience Him, we call Him Emmanuel—not by doctrine, but by realization. |
|
Mutual Relationship |
“Jesus” is the name of revelation; “Emmanuel” is the
name of experience. Revelation
tells us who He is; experience confirms He is God with us. |
|
Examples |
Experiencing
Jesus as comfort → “This comfort is God with me.” |
|
Application |
Every turning
to the spirit, calling on the Lord’s name, and enjoying Christ is entering into the reality of Emmanuel. |
|
Burden |
To lead
believers from doctrinal hesitation into inward assurance that Jesus is truly
God Himself. |
|
Prophesying Guidance |
“Lord Jesus,
when I experience You as my peace, I know You are God with me!” |
|
Conclusion |
Emmanuel is the name of experience, not of doctrine. Whoever
experiences Jesus will declare: Hallelujah, Jesus is God with us! |
Core
Key Point:
Jesus is God in
revelation; Emmanuel is God realized in experience.
