Aspect

Why We Pray into God?

Meaning

Prayer into God means connecting our spirit with Him, entering His presence, and remaining in Him. It is not merely speaking to God, but letting our life be constituted and filled by Him.

Reason

We are naturally distracted and easily drift from God, failing to dwell in Him (Luke 11:1–13; Ps 5:3; Isa 50:4). Prayer is the means to return to Him and remain in His presence, receiving renewal by His Spirit and Word.

Method

1. Spend mornings with God, praying ourselves into His presence (Ps 5:3).
2. Deny self in prayer, focusing on God, not on feelings or form (Mark 8:34; Col 4:2).
3. Call on the Lord’s name: "O Lord Jesus!" — a short yet deep prayer (Rom 10:12–13).
4. Adjust prayer methods if they distract from God, so prayer brings us into Him.

Effect

1. We enter God’s presence and receive His supply and abundance.
2. The Holy Spirit, symbolized by bread, fish, and eggs, becomes our total provision (Luke 11:5–13).
3. Our inner being is filled, leaving no room for darkness or evil (Luke 11:14).
4. Our heart is full of light, enabling us to illuminate others (Luke 11:33–36; Matt 5:8).

Explanation

True prayer is not a religious activity but entering God Himself. It allows our spirit to contact Him, be renewed, transformed, and constituted by Him.

Example

1. Jesus prayed early in the morning alone (Mark 1:35) and often went up the mountain to pray (Luke 6:12).
2. Paul said, "It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me" (Gal 2:20), showing reliance on Christ rather than self.
3. Even a short calling of the Lord’s name demonstrates "not I, but Christ."

Application

1. Begin each day by praying into God’s presence.
2. When facing temptation or pressure, call on the Lord instead of relying on self.
3. Maintain spiritual communion through prayer, letting life and service flow from God.
4. Teach others not just to pray, but to pray into God.

Burden

God desires that we give Him more than our requests — He wants us as His dwelling. True prayer is for God to possess us, not merely for us to gain His help.

Prophetic Guidance

1. Prayer is entering God, not just asking.
2. Watch against distractions that draw you away.
3. Train your spirit to begin the day with prayer.
4. Prayer results in light, supply, and the reality of Christ in us.
5. Declare to the saints: "Prayer is dwelling in Him, not an activity!"

Conclusion

Prayer into God is the core of the believer’s spiritual life. It fills us with God, lightens our hearts, provides supply, and becomes God’s dwelling. The outcome of true prayer is Christ formed within us, not external achievements.
