Core Definition

Cooperate with God to keep our soul in sanctification by clearing the three main "arteries" of our psychological heart

Thoroughly confess to the Lord, stay before Him to receive His shining and exposure

Be examined under the divine microscope, confessing specific sins

Spend sufficient time clearing blockages, experiencing the resurrection of our whole being

1 John 1:5-9 "God is light... If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins"

Rom. 12:2 "Be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well-pleasing and perfect"

Mind Artery

Mind Renewal

Our mind must be renewed to become the mind of Christ

Confess all sinful things in our thoughts and natural understanding

"Lord, my understanding of married life is completely natural, save me from this"

Ask the Lord to shine on and expose our mind, confess natural understanding of family and work

Problem Diagnosis

Mind is full of filth, thinking patterns are natural and unspiritual

Come before the Lord for shining: "Lord, expose my mind, bring me completely into Your light"

Confess that understanding of husband, wife, children is all natural, not spiritual at all

According to the Lord's shining, confess difficulties in thinking one by one

Phil. 2:2,5 "Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus"

Eph. 3:17,19 "That Christ may make His home in your hearts... that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God"

Emotion Artery

Love's Saturation

Emotions must be touched and saturated by Christ's love

Confess the naturalness and impropriety of emotional expressions

Confess "many times I hate what I should love and love what I should hate"

Examine and confess natural manifestations in joy, sorrow, love and hate

Expression Pattern

Expression of joy and sorrow should be spiritual, not natural

See the impropriety of emotional use in the light of the sanctuary

"My way of expressing joy and sorrow is natural and fleshly"

Feel ashamed of natural, fleshly emotional expressions and confess

Phil. 1:8 "How I long after you all in the inward parts of Christ Jesus"

Will Artery

Conquest and Infusion

Will must be conquered and infused by the resurrected Christ

Confess the germs of rebellion in will and past wrong decisions

Confess "years ago I did wrong in a certain matter, wronged a certain brother or sister"

Come before the Lord specifically regarding our will for thorough and detailed exposure

Phil. 2:13 "For it is God who operates in you both the willing and the working for His good pleasure"

Submission Issue

See how rebellious we are, not knowing what it means to submit to the Lord

Be examined under the divine microscope

The Lord shows you specific rebellious acts and wrong decisions from the past

Each time we need to confess, be thankful for being exposed in His light

Songs 4:4a, 7:4a (will like a victorious tower)

Integrated Application

Love the Lord with Whole Being

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength

After all three arteries are healthy, able to love the Lord completely

Love the Lord with our whole being in daily life

Mark 12:30 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength"

Practical Steps

Shining and Exposure

Let the Lord completely shine on and expose all parts of our soul

Stay before the Lord for a long time in fellowship with Him

"Lord, shine on me, expose my mind, emotion, and will"

Need a long time of being with the Lord to receive exposure

1 John 1:7 "If we walk in the light as He is in the light"

Confession and Cleansing

According to the Lord's exposure, confess shortcomings, mistakes, failures, errors, evil deeds and sins

According to the Lord's exposure, confess specific sins one by one

Separately confess specific sin items regarding mind, emotion, and will

Each time we need to confess and receive the Lord's forgiveness and cleansing

1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness"

Final Result

Resurrection of Whole Being

Feel that our whole being is alive and in very healthy condition

Clear the blockages of the three main arteries

Mind, will, and emotions are all very healthy, all filth has been dug out

Able to prove God's good, well-pleasing, and perfect will

Rom. 12:2 "That you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well-pleasing and perfect"

Cooperation with God

Sanctification Process

Keeping our soul in sanctification requires cooperation with God

God operates, we cooperate in willing and working

God operates within us, enabling us to will and work

Actively cooperate with God in the sanctification process
